Non-Invasive Plastic Surgery in Hot Springs
Our surgeons do more than just operate. Arkansas Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons also perform non-invasive plastic surgery in Hot Springs. We offer in-office injections for Botox, dermal fillers such as Restylane and Radiesse, and laser peels and resurfacing.
Cosmetic Botox Injections
For many years, our surgeons have administered Botox cosmetic injections to correct fine facial lines and wrinkles. The surgeons perform all the Botox injections themselves–you’ll never receive a procedure from an auxiliary staff member.
The Botox injections are short and simple. Patients are typically able to resume their normal activities immediately after receiving injections.
Botox Care Instructions: Before and After Treatment
Before Botox treatments, please do not take aspirin or blood-thinning medications. This reduces the risk of pinpoint bruises.
After your injection:
- Do not lie down flat for 4 hours
- Avoid strenuous exercise for at least 4 hours
- Try not to excessively move your face or check to see if your botox is working for several days
- Do not rub the area of the botox injections
- Light face washing is acceptable and normal make-up can be applied
- You may apply ice immediately after the injection for up to an hour
- Allow up to 7-10 days to see results. Please avoid touch-up treatments during this time.
Dermal Fillers
As we age, our skin loses elasticity and fullness, the jaw starts to recede and sag, and lips start to thin. Dermal fillers are gel-like substances injected underneath the skin to replace this lost fullness. As with our Botox injections, all dermal filler procedures are performed in the office by one of the cosmetic surgeons. The procedure is very short and you will be able to continue your daily activities immediately afterward.
Your facial surgeon may recommend one dermal filler over another depending on your goals and target areas. We offer fillers like Restylane and Radiesse–both designed to give you your youthful glow back!
How Long Do Dermal Fillers Last?
The lifespan of your dermal filler depends on the type of filler and where it is injected. Generally, you can expect dermal fillers to last between 6 to 12 months. Lip treatments typically don’t last as long as treatments to the nasolabial folds.
Laser Peels and Laser Resurfacing
Laser resurfacing and laser peels work by using a specially designed laser beam of pulsing light to delicately remove the first, damaged layer of skin in small, targeted areas. While the laser is burning away the damage on your face, it simultaneously heats up the layer of skin underneath, which promotes collagen growth for younger and healthier-looking skin.
As with other procedures, laser peels are performed only by our surgeons themselves, and they are performed in our Hot Springs office.

Botox injections and dermal fillers can be performed simultaneously and it’s a very short procedure, so we can squeeze you in on your lunch break or on your way home from work if need be!
