Laser Skin Rejuvenation

Laser resurfacing is also known as lasabrasion, laser vaporization, or a laser peel. Laser resurfacing uses short, concentrated, pulsating beams of light to burn away damaged skin one layer at a time. It is a very precise procedure. Laser surgery is used to reduce facial wrinkles, scars, and other blemishes.

At Arkansas Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons we offer a wide variety of skin rejuvenating lasers to include:

FRAXEL

Fraxel DUAL is an FDA approved laser used to treat aging or damaged skin conditions, including: fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, age spots or brown spots, melisma (pregnancy mask), acne scarring, and uneven texture. The Fraxel DUAL laser eradicates damaged skin, which in turn activates the natural healing process giving an overall healthy, fresh appearance. Treatments are usually done in 4 sessions at 4-6 weeks apart. Fraxel DUAL can also be used to treat delicate areas, such as; the neck, chest, and hands.

CLEAR + BRILLIANT

Clear + Brilliant is an anti-aging laser treatment that is gentle and non-invasive. It improves the tone and texture of skin and revives a youthful glow. Patients report a more even skin tone and reduced pores for an overall glowing appearance.

THERMAGE

Thermage is a laser treatment that uses radiofrequency technology. This laser is gentle, non-invasive, and has very little down time. It smooths, tightens, and contours the skin for an overall younger appearance. Lasting results that improve over 2-6 months following treatment and can last for years.

THERMAVEIN

ThermaVein is an instant, safe, and permanent treatment of red thread/spider veins, cherry angiomas, spider naevi, and vascular blemishes. There is no down time and no potential burning, scarring, or hypo/hyper pigmentation. ThermaVein is safe to use on all skin types as it uses a thermocoagulation process. An insulated probe with 4Mhz current is applied to the surface of the skin, gently heating the vein walls to a low temperature sufficient to seal the walls together causing the vein to empty. Over time the body naturally reabsorbs the vein, creating a long-term solution.
